The Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) and the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) are set to host the inaugural Asia International Security Summit & Expo (AISSE) from January 20th to 22nd, 2025, at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC).

Last week, a ceremonial handover of the appointment letter for the organization of AISSE 2025 took place at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Dewan Gemilang Setia Perkasa 1, Kompleks Setia Perkasa, Putrajaya. The Director of Management, YDH CP Dato’ Sri Azmi bin Abu Kassim, formally presented the letter to YBhg Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohd Khairul Adib bin Abd Rahman, Chairman of Alpine Integrated Solution Sdn Bhd (AIS). This significant event was attended by the Minister of Home Affairs, YB Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail, and was part of MOHA’s monthly General Assembly.

Alpine Integrated Solution Sdn Bhd (AIS) boasts substantial experience in managing international exhibitions and conferences, and this momentous occasion signals the start of government-level preparations for AISSE 2025, which is now 111 days away. The event’s organizing committee will be led by a Main Organizing Committee co-chaired by the Secretary-General of MOHA and the Inspector-General of Police, supported by a working committee headed by the Deputy Secretary-General of Security. The committees will include representatives from MOHA, AIS, and Koperasi Polis Diraja Malaysia Berhad (KPDRM).

AISSE 2025 aims to become Malaysia’s premier internal security event and establish itself as Asia’s foremost platform for peace and security. This aligns with the Ministry’s commitment to fostering peaceful nations. The summit’s theme, “Asia United: Charting the Future of Global Peace and Security through Law Enforcement Collaboration,” envisions a united Asia at the forefront of global peace and security initiatives. In an era where stability is paramount, AISSE 2025 will play a key role in fostering dialogue and collaboration among nations to promote a safer world.

The three-day program will feature the inaugural ASEAN+ Security High Roundtable, co-organized with ASEANAPOL, which will gather approximately 15 Ministers of Home Affairs along with their respective Police Chiefs to discuss strategic and cross-border security issues. Malaysia’s Prime Minister is expected to deliver the opening address at this prestigious gathering.

Additionally, AISSE 2025 will showcase a high-tech exhibition featuring advanced security technologies from leading industry players, including prominent companies such as Afiintra (Advanced Jupiter), Blackberry, CREST, Dataport Technologies, EC-Council, Eunomia Traffic, Gasmet Technologies (Asia) Ltd, Germonizer, JHY Technologies/Hwaye Anda Holdings, Magnet Forensics, Noble Forensic Technology, Samsung, Siren, and SWS LNNTech Sdn Bhd. The exhibitors will represent a wide range of countries, including Malaysia, Canada, Hong Kong, Latvia, Singapore, South Korea, the United States, Taiwan, and Turkiye.

The event will also include approximately 30 curated conference and forum sessions focused on reinforcing AISSE’s overarching theme of promoting peaceful nations. The summit expects the participation of around 200 security organizations and industry stakeholders from over 15 countries, including leaders in forensics, biometrics, personal safety equipment, ICT, cybersecurity, and other internal security-related sectors.

AISSE 2025 is expected to attract more than 5,000 trade visitors, including government officials who will participate as attendees, speakers, and exhibitors. The Malaysian government will also host 60 foreign VIP delegates, who will be treated to a special program of activities.

As Malaysia’s primary law enforcement agency, RMP is committed to protecting the public from all forms of criminal threats and continuously improving its crime prevention and investigative capabilities. AISSE 2025 offers an invaluable platform for security companies worldwide to engage in meaningful dialogues and foster strategic partnerships, contributing to regional and global security efforts.

RMP fully supports the initiatives of Koperasi Polis Diraja Malaysia Berhad (KPDRM) and Alpine Integrated Solution Sdn Bhd (AIS) in organizing this important event. AISSE 2025 is poised to strengthen the national security community, and we encourage all stakeholders, security professionals, and industry participants to take part in this groundbreaking summit.
