As we embark on a new chapter in global security collaboration, it is with immense pride that I welcome you to the Asia International Security Summit and Expo 2025 (AISSE’25). In my role as the Director of Investigation and Traffic Enforcement at the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP), I am deeply honored to be part of Malaysia’s leading national and international security summit. This year’s theme, “Asia United: Charting the Future of Global Peace and Security through Law Enforcement Collaboration,” underscores our collective commitment to fostering international cooperation and innovative solutions to security challenges.
AISSE’25, scheduled from 20th to 22nd January 2025, stands as a pivotal platform for engaging with esteemed security professionals, policymakers, and industry leaders from around the world. This summit provides an unparalleled opportunity to address the most pressing security concerns of our time, including those highlighted in the Global Peace Index 2024, which underscores the urgency of enhancing peace and stability in an increasingly complex global landscape.
One of the key highlights of AISSE’25 is the Cybercrime Prevention Summit 2025, supported by the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA). This specialized summit will address the ever-evolving threats posed by cybercrime and their intersection with traffic enforcement and broader law enforcement efforts. The discussions and strategies emerging from this summit will be instrumental in shaping our collective response to these challenges.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all exhibitors, sponsors, VIPs, and participants who have made this event possible. Your unwavering support and dedication are integral to the success of AISSE’25. The collaboration between public and private sectors, coupled with the active involvement of diverse stakeholders, exemplifies our shared commitment to advancing global security practices.
The Royal Malaysia Police is proud to contribute to this landmark event, and we are confident that the dialogues and exchanges held during AISSE’25 will result in actionable outcomes and forward-thinking solutions. The summit offers a unique opportunity to forge new partnerships, share best practices, and collaboratively address current and emerging threats to global peace and security.
As we navigate the complexities of modern security challenges, the insights and strategies gained from AISSE’25 will undoubtedly serve as a foundation for building safer communities and fostering international peace.
Once again, I extend my sincere appreciation to everyone who has played a role in organizing and supporting AISSE’25. Together, let us chart a path toward a more secure and peaceful world.
